The Amigo Trails Difference

Book with the locals!

Why book with a travel agency who knows very little, if anything, about the Copper Canyon and pay their 2nd or 3rd tier markup, when you can book direct with a tour operator who has offices in the canyons and works exclusively in the region?

We have been designing customized trips through the Copper Canyon for over 10 years now and we still get excited about every new client and trip we design because we can empathize directly with the excitement our clients feel during this process. All our trips are designed with our clients timeframe, interests and activity level in mind and it just thrills us to get people off the old 'beaten' path and into the heart of the Copper Canyon. There is really so much to see here that we recommend at least a 10 day trip to get to most of the highlights.

We find so many people just whiz through the Canyons in a day or two and never even get off the train! One can certainly say they've 'been' to the Copper Canyon this way but, as a rule, we find they tend to be extremely dissapointed when they find out they missed so very much just because they didn't know how to maximize their time best.

Amigo Trails Travel works exclusively in the Copper Canyon and Baja Sur Mexico and we use all local guides and staff. Our main supplier in the canyons is our affiliate company and ground operations management center The 3 Amigos who share office space with us in Creel, Chihuahua. They do most of our local tours and transfers so you can be assured that you are getting the highest quality, best service and most up-to-date information that can be had in the canyons. One never expects to have trouble on a trip, but should you need help while traveling here in the canyons, or if you just have a question, you can simply make a local call to The 3 Amigos offices and anything you need will be sorted out by an English speaking staff member.

We can't mention everyone here that puts time and energy into the company, as it would take forever AND bore you to death, so we will only mention a few key players that you are likely to meet or at least speak with during the planning of your trip.
