Early morning Divisadero Area Tour to visit all the overlooks and an opportunity to ride the Cable Car into the canyon, enjoy the traditional 7 zip lines, or ride the ZipRider, both with cable car return, as optional activities.

Private vehicle transfer from Divisadero to the rim of Tararecua Canyon. You’ll hike to the bottom of this smaller canyon, about 3kms down a switchback road, then enjoy the afternoon soaking your muscles in the warm water with lovely views of the canyon from the bottom. A box lunch is included for you today to enjoy at the springs.  Hike back to the top again, then you'll  be driven into the Magic Town of Creel, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel for the night.

Breakfast included at hotel. Lunch included with table and chairs on the rim of Tararecua Canyon.

Today you’ll be exploring the far reaches of the canyons that few tourists ever get to see. You’ll be driven down paved roads through 4 different canyons and through a wondrous variety of scenery; culminating in a series of switchback roads into the amazing Batopilas Canyon towards the end of the day; arriving  in the Magic Town of Batopilas, an old silver mining village from the 16th century, around sunset.

An outdoor and stylish picnic lunch is included along the way today for your comfort and immersion into the canyons.   You’ll be dropped off in Batopilas at the end of the day at the incredible Riverside Lodge Hotel; an old hacienda from the silver mining days that features private gardens, murals on the ceiling in the main salon, and claw foot bathtubs in each room.

**Please be advised that this tour to Batopilas is for the adventurous at heart only. We will be traveling along steep canyon roads, and through remote areas of the canyons. This section of the trip is for those wishing to see authentic Mexico and immerse themselves into the culture and people of the canyons. A visit to Batopilas is best described as ‘stepping back in time’ and is an unforgettable experience.

Continental breakfast included at hotel, deluxe picnic lunch included during tour

Today is a full day in Batopilas to visit the local sights. You’ll be driven to the Lost Cathedral of Satevo, and will have some time to walk a bit in the canyon bottom. You have a choice of doing two different hikes today;  one of them along the old aqueduct, which is part of the old Silver Trail that goes along the river. Or one to an old mine with views of Batopilas from above. You’ll also visit the Batopilas museum, which is very interesting and features photos about the annual reenactment of the Silver Trail Ride where the arrieros load the silver onto mules and drive the mule train to Chihuahua to bank the silver.

Continental breakfast included at hotel

You have two full day options today  for seeing some amazing canyon views in a local fashion. One option is to be driven by a local 4×4 vehicle to a tiny Indian village half way up a canyon, and then to do a 1.5 hour hike to the top of that canyon for incredible views of 2 different canyons. The other, if you are not a hiker, is to be driven by local 4×4 vehicle to an overlook of Batopilas Canyon, one of the highest look outs in the region.

Box lunch included for hiking option, and picnic included for non-hiking option

You’ll return to the upper sierra today, driving through Humira, Basihuare, Copper and Batopilas Canyons, arriving back in Creel in time for lunch. Free time in the afternoon to unwind from your canyon adventure and to enjoy any optional activities such as horseback riding, renting a bike, scooter or doing a guided CAN AM ATV tour.

Continental breakfast included at hotel

Today is a full day tour to see the highest waterfall in Mexico, Basaseachi Falls, located in a seldom seen canyon called Candameña Canyon. You’ll drive through several small villages over about 2 hours to reach this canyon and will be able to view the falls from two separate vantage points; one facing the falls across the canyon, and the other standing atop the falls itself, with the water gushing past your very feet. Hiking is available here over a variety of trails of varying skill levels so there is something for everyone. Those not wishing to hike can be transported from view point to view point with your guide in the vehicle. Note: Hiking is not mandatory, but one must be able to walk a min. of 1 km over a paved path to get to the view points, then one 1km back again to the parking lot. A box lunch will be included for you today to carry with you if you decide to do some hiking. If you do not hike, then your guide will set up your box lunches on top of the waterfall so you can enjoy the canyon view.

Continental breakfast included at hotel, gourmet box lunch included during tour

Transfer from Creel to Chihuahua City this morning with a stop to visit the Mennonite Museum in Cuauhtemoc if desired. There is a small entrance fee to the Mennonite Museum if you decide to make a stop there. We’ll drop you off at your hotel in Chihuahua upon arrival to the city. You can have lunch at your hotel and rest up a bit to enjoy the city tour in the afternoon.

The guided City Tour of Chihuahua will allow you to enjoy the history of this amazing city and see such sights as; Pancho Villa’s house, Quinta Gameros, the Federal Building with Hidalgo’s Dungeon and the main Cathedral.

Breakfast included at hotel

You’ll be driven to the airport this morning for your flight out. We recommend an afternoon flight out so you have time to enjoy the two pools, Jacuzzi and steam room at your hotel this morning.
